Hi Cookery Fans!19-10-2011 09:14:00This is my first chef's blog on our brand new web site, where I will enlighten the masses with my cookery knowledge and tips. I will also keep you posted on up and coming events in the cookery school, seasonal products and dishes. This month we will be holding our children’s Halloween Kitchen sessions on the 24th, 26th and the 28th where each group will spend an hour carving pumpkins using some spooky templates followed by an hour in the kitchen making and decorating muffins with count Daveula (that's me!) Last year was a sell out and we are expecting the same again this year so book now!!! Now Winter is here, we can look forward to game season, rabbit is one of my all time favourite things to eat. Braised in cider, cream and rosemary makes for a great meal. Chefs tip of the week: If the meat you are cooking doesn’t make a ‘sizzle’ when it hits the pan, wait another minute before frying or you will suffer a grey and flaccid dinner!
