Beckett's Farm uses its unique resources to offer you some imaginative and 
innovative themes for Team Building exercises. You may like to choose from one of the options below or we will happily create a bespoke package.

Cookery demonstrations and competitions take place in Beckett's purpose-built on-site Cookery School kitchen.

Ready, Steady Cook
Our Cookery School on-site chef will demonstrate how to make pasta from 
scratch and delegates will make their own pasta and use the pasta machine to create tagliatelli and filled pasta shapes.
Our on-site baker will prepare the dough and demonstrate different methods of shaping dough to create rolls, loaves etc. Delegates will then make their own shapes which will be baked in the on-site bakery ovens.
For a twist on the office meal, never will it be more apparent that a team won't 
eat if it doesn't pull together.
Delegates will be divided into three teams, each of which will prepare a course for their colleagues.
The teams will work together to create a starter, main course and dessert, from a choice of Italian, Indian or British food styles and, once completed, will retire to enjoy the cuisine in their own personal dining area.
Working on the Cookery School kitchen delegates will first prepare pasta from scratch and then create their own filled pasta shapes. Ingredients can be selected from the Farm Shop as well as the kitchen larder. Full chef support and demonstration.
Out on the farm delegates are then shown how to drive a JCB digger, take a tractor and trailer round the slalom course and finally master the art of fork lift truck driving. Tuition and instruction will be given by our qualified staff.
Upon arrival at the Cookery School kitchen the group will be divided into two 
teams: the Green Peppers and Red Tomatoes. The teams will each be given a bag of ingredients and will spend twewnty minutes planning a two course menu with the help of their own assigned team chef.
The teams will then have two hours exactly to execute their plan, organising their time and being as creative as they can with the ingredients. They will create two delicious dishes that will be tried by the judges at the end of the allotted time.
