in our Fruit and Veg Department
Saturdays, 11-3 p.m.

John, manager of our fruit and veg department and a fully qualified chef in his own right, is absolutely passionate about the benefits of good, honest, home-cooked food.  He believes a family can live so well, with modest outlay, if basic ingredients are cooked the right way, and with a little imagination.  His emphasis is always on "keep it simple".  So, for the next few weeks, he will be demonstrating basic dishes each Saturday between 11-3 p.m., starting on 9th January with soups - Stilton & Broccoli and Creamy Parsnip.

On 20th February John will have tastings (and recipe handouts) for an Octopus Pizza.

Do come and try it.
