Did a fantastic French cookery course here. Excellent chefs who were friendly helpful and fun to work with. Made some delicious chicken chausseur, petit pois, bacon and cream side dish, tarte tatin all washed down with lots of wine. Will definitely go again. Thank you to our girls for the present

Me and my husband had an excellent evening last night at Becketts Farm Cookery School learning how to cook an Italian feast! The group was not too big, the chef and all of the staff were welcoming, extremely helpful and the evening was very well run. The evening wasn't intimidating (which I think can be a concern if you are trying something new!) it was tiring but manageable on a work night and we came home with at least 2 if not 3 nights worth of excellent homemade Italian food! I have done other cookery courses and I would highly recommend!!

ADULT COURSES

At the Orange Kitchen School of Cookery we run a wide range of adult cookery classes, designed to cater for all abilities.  There are 6 workstations within the main kitchen which are fully equipped with fridges, gas hobs and utensils and all ingredients are provided for you during your course. 

The courses may be purchased as a single workstation, providing the chef with their own working area and ingredients or shared workstations are available where two people share the ingredients and the cooking challenges. 

There are lots of cuisines to choose from, teaching many different skills. Listed below are our current courses available to book.

My husband bought me the pasta making class as a birthday gift and I can honestly say it's the best gift I have had. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The chef went above and beyond when he was teaching us what to do. He even cooked a separate dish for me to try as I have a dairy allergy, he made a dairy free option for me to try.

My partner and I attended the course, we both had a fabulous evening, well coached by the chef Tom. He was very patient and encouraging and the demonstrations provided a great understanding of what was required. We were also able to try Tom's tasty treats freshly baked out of the oven - the sausage rolls, cornish pasty, apple tart and creme anglaise were amazing! We can't wait to try making more pastry at home, we can even get our 3 year old daughter involved with making puff pastry!
