🌻 The flower fields will be open throughout the event with access via the pedestrian gates, so you’re welcome to visit the flowers at any time.
Please note that the sunflowers in our primary field (next to Shirley Aquatics) haven’t grown as well as we’d hoped this year and won’t look as spectacular as they have done. However, the second field (next to American Golf) has taken much better, so we recommend walking through both fields when visiting.
See our frequently asked questions below for more information.

Sunflower Charity Partner
This year, our sunflower fields will be supporting the local charity Social Life Opportunities. They are a local, Solihull-based charity that supports children, young people and adults with learning disabilities. Their mission is centred around embracing disability and empowering lives, helping individuals realise their potential, build independence, and develop meaningful friendships. They provide a wide range of social, leisure and skill-building activities to those they support, along with adult day services, supported living, after-school and school holiday playschemes. The charity also offers respite for families and carers, ensuring both individuals and their support networks receive the help they need. SoLO has a strong local impact across Solihull and the surrounding areas, supporting thousands of individuals each year.

Sunflower Field FAQs
What are the opening times?
The summer garden party (games, food and drinks) will be operating 10am – 3pm daily throughout August. The pedestrian gate remains unlocked outside of these times so if you wish to get sunset shots or arrive prior to 10am, this is possible. Please note that outside of Farm Shop opening times there is no access to facilities in the main building and the event will be unmanned.
What parking regulations are in place?
Our car park is ANPR controlled. Daytime parking regulations are suspended between 6.30am and 10pm daily between 27th July 2026 and 31st August 2026 inclusive.
Nighttime parking regulations are still in force 10pm to 6.30pm daily between 27th July 2026 and 31st August 2026, with a maximum stay of 10 minutes.
Signage around the premises will display our standard terms, and will not be updated to reflect these temporary changes. Our standard parking terms can be found via this link.
Are food and drinks available?
Yes, between 1st and 31st August, our ‘Thirsty Goat’ food and drink hut will be open 10am – 3pm daily serving light bites (baguettes, sausage rolls, cakes), hot / cold drinks and ice cream. The Becketts’ BBQ will also be open 11am – 3pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Both are located within the picnic area of the event space.
We also have an on-site Farm Shop, Coffee Shop and Restaurant. Booking in our Restaurant is strongly advised, click here to make a reservation. If you plan to purchase takeaway food to eat on-site, please take all litter home with you or use the bins provided.
We kindly ask that you only consume food and drink purchased on site. Please do not bring your own food and drink.
Can we pick the sunflowers?
No. Please refrain from picking the sunflowers or causing them any damage. We operate this as an entirely free event, but rely on everyone to respect the flowers. Picking them means that visitors coming after you have less to appreciate, and we hope that the flowers will flourish for 4 weeks for everyone to enjoy.
Can you bring dogs?
Well behaved dogs (and their owners!) are very welcome. Please clean up after your dog and be considerate of other visitors, especially young children.
What are the conditions of the field like?
The conditions of the field and walking paths strongly depend on the weather leading up to opening. In previous years, paths have been wet and muddy, so wellies or walking boots are advised.
Can professional photographers use the space?
The field is free to visit and local professional photographers are permitted to take photos for their own commercial gain. There’s no need to notify us in advance. Where possible we would be pleased if you’d share the love by tagging us @BeckettsFarm #BeckettsSunflowers in your social media posts. Additionally, we would hope that you would consider donating a proportion of any profits made to our annual charity appeal.
Unfortunately we do not permit areas of the field to be cordoned off for professional photographers. Please be respectful of other visitors.
When will the sunflower field be open until?
How long the sunflowers are in bloom for depends heavily on nature. The summer garden party will be operating every day between 1st and 31st August.
Do you have extra parking?
Yes, our overflow car park will be open daily (weather permitting) but please bear in mind that it will be locked at 4.30pm.
Is the field wheelchair and pushchair accessible?
Access to the fields is flat and the field does have a footpath, but it can be uneven and narrow in places.
