February Half Term Things To Do

With February half term just around the corner, we’ve rounded up our favourite things to keep the little ones occupied!

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat out with the kids, our Restaurant is known for being family friendly – we are a family business after all! Adults can indulge in our famous Old Faithful breakfast or a hearty lunchtime sandwich and the little ones can take their pick from our children’s menu. We’d recommend booking a table in advance which can be done on our reservations page.

Baking fun!

When the weather isn’t on side, finding entertainment at home can be tricky! Why not try your hand at these easy shortbread biscuits, made using just a handful of everyday ingredients. Let your little ones unleash their creativity when it comes to decorating by getting in some sweets, sprinkles and chocolate to melt. You could even start a decorating competition which will keep them quieter for longer!

Out and about

Our friends at Visit Worcestershire have rounded up some fantastic family-friendly activities to enjoy this February half-term. From crazy golf and inflatables to soft play and days out, the county has loads to offer to young families.

Additionally, we are pleased to be featured on the BeLocal app who showcase amazing food and drink independents. They also map out great local walks, with two of which passing right by Becketts for some midway refreshments. Our children’s sandwich boxes are great for fuelling little bellies. Adults will find a fantastic selection at our Sandwich Bar too, with a range of breads and fillings to choose from. BeLocal members receive 10% in our Farm Shop and Restaurant.

Space to work

If you’ve got to work from home and need some peace and quiet while the kids are off school, then our Conference Centre offers smaller rooms which can be used as workspace. Our rooms can be hired on an hourly, half or full day rate and are ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of home working!

Practice your pancake flipping!

Pancake Day is a little later this year – Tuesday 4th March. Why not get practicing flipping those pancakes in time for the big day – it’ll be here before you know and practice makes perfect! Pick up some free-range eggs and lemons from our Farm Shop next time you’re visiting. You’ll even find a great selection of toppings including local honey, chocolate spreads, dairy ice-cream and fresh fruit!

Get Easter in your diary!

Thinking ahead to the next half-term, our events team are busy preparing for our annual family Easter event. Running this year between 12th and 27th April, it makes a great family day out to get in the diary. Meet the baby lambs, goats and more, plus you may even be lucky enough to watch a chick hatch! Children can also take part in our sunflower planting activity and Easter-themed colouring in!
