Pumpkin Extravaganza at Becketts Farm

Back for 2025 is the popular Pumpkin Extravaganza at Becketts Farm.

Running Friday 24th to Friday 31st October 2025. 

Sessions last 1 hour and start times are: 9:30am, 10:45am, 12pm, 1:45pm, 3pm. 

The Pumpkin Queen and Bella, the Becketts Farm Witch, are returning to Becketts Farm this October half-term for pumpkin carving, spooky spells and plenty of unforgettable Halloween fun!

Magic and mischief await with our enchanting pumpkin carving experience. Join the Pumpkin Queen and Bella for a spooky pumpkin party, filled with jack-o’-lantern carving and thrilling theatre. Young witches, witches and pumpkin lovers will be entertained and amazed by our trained actors.

Adventure Awaits!

Join the charming Pumpkin Queen as she welcomes her royal guests (that’s you!) to the palace for the ultimate Halloween celebration. There’s just one problem – the party preparations are behind schedule! With spooky season in full swing, the Queen has a clever idea: call on her magical friend, Bella, the Becketts Farm Witch, for help!

With a little audience participation and a sprinkle of magic, Bella has a spellbinding solution to get the party back on track!

Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza

It’s time to roll up your sleeves because the Queen and Bella need your help to carve the perfect Halloween pumpkins.

Children will choose their own pumpkins from the royal patch and take part in a hands-on carving session where they’ll be guided step-by-step to create a masterpiece!

Party with Halloween Royalty

Once the carving is finished, the palace comes to life with spooktacular sounds and lights – it’s time to sing and party like royalty, showing off your beautifully carved pumpkins.

Don’t forget your cameras! This is a Halloween event you’ll want to remember. Pose for photos with the Pumpkin Queen and Bella Beckett as you enjoy your magical, interactive experience.

Important Information

ADULT TICKETS

Adults do not need to purchase a ticket.

For safety reasons, all children require adult supervision whilst carving pumpkins. By booking this event, you agree to bring at least 1 guardian per 2 children participating. Failure to do so may result in your group being asked to leave, as we need to ensure the safety of all participants.

In busier sessions, any adults attending in addition to the above ratios may be asked to remain in the waiting area of our events space for the duration of the session. Please be mindful of the number of adults you are bringing with you for this reason, to avoid disappointment. By booking this event, you accept that additional adults may be asked to remain outside the main event space.

INFANT TICKETS (UNDER 2s)

All participating children need to be paid for.

• Infants (under 2) accompanying an older sibling who does not intend to participate in the activity will not need to be paid for. A pumpkin is not included. If you would like a pumpkin included for your under 2, please purchase them a ticket.
• Infants (under 2) NOT accompanying an older sibling must be paid for. We advise that this experience is most suitable for age 2+ and is not aimed at infants.

SESSION START TIME / LATE ADMISSIONS

Sessions start at the time you have booked and last one hour. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your allotted time slot if possible to be checked in. The performance will begin at the time stated on your booking. Latecomers may not be admitted, and tickets cannot be moved or refunded on the day as per our booking terms. If due to late admission you cannot complete the pumpkin carving activity in the allotted time, this will need to be taken away and completed at home.

CANCELLATIONS 

Cancellations require 48-hours notice. Rescheduling may not always be possible due the popularity of the event. Refunds will not be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of session start time.

PUMPKINS

One pumpkin is included per paid ticket. The pumpkins are collected as part of the interactive theatre experience so there is no need to get one in advance.

EVENTS SPACE

The event is held in a covered marquee. The marquee is not heated so please wrap up appropriately.

We will have a small space available for pushchairs to be stored within the marquee but would advise they are not brought into the main event/carving space wherever possible.

Smoke and lighting effects are used as part of the performance.
