Becketts Farm Sunflowers
Sunflower Field
Opening soon!
We are hopeful that our sunflower fields will bloom very soon!
Our field is FREE to enter and enjoy, but we ask visitors to consider making a donation to our chosen charity where possible. This year, our chosen charity is Help Harry Help Others.
Help Harry Help Others is a local, Birmingham-based charity that provides support to individuals and their families affected by cancer. The charity was founded in memory of Harry Moseley, a young boy who tragically passed away from a brain tumour in 2011. Harry dedicated his time to raising money for cancer research by making and selling bracelets.
The charity continues Harry’s legacy by supporting people affected by cancer through three main areas: cancer research, cancer support, and awareness. The dedicated team operates a drop-in cancer support centre in Birmingham offering practical, financial and emotional help to patients and families, including counselling, therapies, legal advice and more – all under one roof and free of charge. Support is available for anyone, of any age, going through any type of cancer.

Sunflower Field FAQs
Can we pick the sunflowers?
No. Please refrain from picking the sunflowers or causing them any damage. We operate this as an entirely free event, but rely on everyone to respect the flowers. Picking them means that visitors coming after you have less to appreciate, and we hope that the flowers will flourish for 4 weeks for everyone to enjoy.
Can you bring dogs?
Well behaved dogs (and their owners!) are very welcome. Please clean up after your dog and be considerate of other visitors, especially young children.
What are the conditions of the field like?
The conditions of the field and walking paths strongly depend on the weather leading up to opening. In previous years, paths have been wet and muddy, so wellies or walking boots are advised.
Can professional photographers use the space?
The field is free to visit and local professional photographers are permitted to take photos for their own commercial gain. There’s no need to notify us in advance. Where possible we would be pleased if you’d share the love by tagging us @BeckettsFarm #BeckettsSunflowers in your social media posts. Additionally, we would hope that you would consider donating a proportion of any profits made to our annual charity appeal.
Unfortunately we do not permit areas of the field to be cordoned off for professional photographers. Please be respectful of other visitors.
What are the opening times?
Our field is open during Farm Shop opening times. The pedestrian gate remains unlocked so if you wish to get sunset shots, this is possible. Please note that outside of Farm Shop opening times there is no access to facilities in the main building and the event is unmanned.
When will the sunflower field be open until?
This is nature permitting, but we would expect the flowers to be in bloom for approximately 4 weeks.
Do you have extra parking?
Yes, our overflow car park will be open daily (weather permitting) but please bear in mind that it will be locked at 4.30pm.
What parking regulations are in place?
Our car park is ANPR controlled. Daytime parking regulations are suspended 6.30am and 10pm daily between 14th August 2025 and 30th September 2025.
Nighttime parking regulations are still in force 10pm to 6.30pm daily between 14th August and 30th September, with a maximum stay of 10 minutes.
Signage around the premises will display our standard terms, and will not be updated to reflect these temporary changes. Our standard parking terms can be found via this link.
Can I get food on site?
Yes, we have an on-site Farm Shop, Coffee Shop and Restaurant. Booking in our Restaurant is strongly advised, click here to make a reservation. If you plan to purchase takeaway food to eat on-site, please take all litter home with you or use the bins provided.
Is the field wheelchair and pushchair accessible?
The field does have a footpath, but it can be uneven and narrow in places.
