Friday 25th September 2020 was the official day for the Macmillan ‘Worlds Biggest’ coffee morning. This event is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event! We are always happy to join in and take part year after year to help raise as much money for such a worthy charity.

Sadly, this year we could not hold our annual ‘Great Becketts Bake Off’ event. This annual event invites staff and customers to enter their home baked cakes for judging by our very own MD! However, this did not stop us from fundraising and raising as much money as we could for Macmillan.

Our very skilled Bakery team made some delicious Macmillan themed cupcakes. For every box of 6 cupcakes sold, we donated £1.50 to Macmillan.

We also donated £1 for every hot drink purchased in our Restaurant and Coffee Shop on Friday. The Becketts Farm team enjoyed a ‘Guess the Square’ competition which we sent to every department for everyone to have a go. This raised £50.00 for Macmillan.We have also had a charity box in our Coffee Shop leading up to the coffee morning for customers to donate.

The Grand total raised for Macmillan is £186.80. Thank you to those that supported our coffee morning.
