Air-conditioned Workspace

Did you know that all of our conference rooms have air-conditioning? Many people hire our smaller rooms as an individual workspace rather than a meeting room for multiple delegates. Our smallest room has a small boardroom table set up for 6 and can be hired on an hourly rate. In fact, it’s not just the Conference Centre which has air-conditioning! You’ll find our on-site Farm Shop, Restaurant and Coffee Shop to be beautifully cool as well.

Home working, without the kids to distract you

With home working still the norm for many people, the school summer holidays may be posing a little trouble if your kids are now at home popping up in the background of your Zoom calls unannounced (we’ve all seen those viral vids throughout lockdown)! Our smaller meeting rooms are quiet and distraction free, so you can get your head down uninterrupted. The friendly team can be on hand throughout the day to assist you.

Delicious food packages

Working to the requirements of our clients is something that we love to do here at Becketts Farm Conference Centre. Recently, we’ve seen increased requests for cold versions of our finger and fork buffets. You asked, and we delivered! Featured on our cold buffets are a selection of sandwiches, salads, pastries and cakes. Fresh fruit platters are also optional for your delegates to enjoy throughout the day as a refreshing snack. The fruit platters are made up with the finest local and British produce from our Greengrocers, which is in abundance at this time of year.

Get together and cook together on a summers’ evening

Why not host an afternoon meeting followed by a Team Build in our Cookery School? You can choose from a range of exciting cookery-based experiences, from a private cookery class (you’ll need a team vote to help you choose from our 15 exciting cuisines) to a Cook & Dine experience where you’ll help each other cook a three-course meal to sit down and enjoy. There are plenty of other fun and competitive options like Bake Off, Ready Steady Cook and Chocolate Challenge to name but a few. Cooking leisurely together on a summers’ evening is one enjoyable way to spend time building that team rapport.

September is usually our busiest month here at Becketts Conference Centre. So, if you’re looking to bring everyone back together after the summer holidays, then we advise getting a date pencilled in with us now! With six rooms of varying capacities – small (6 delegates), medium (20 delegates) and large (60 delegates) – and a central location, host your local, regional or even national team meetings with us.
