This may be hard to believe, but these cabbage hash browns really do taste like the original potato hash brown. This simple recipe uses just cabbage, eggs, onion and seasoning and makes a delicious addition to your morning breakfast. Why don’t you give these cabbage hash browns a try!
Ready in: 25 minutes
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 medium white cabbage, shredded
1/4 small onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, garlic powder, and salt together. Season with black pepper. Add the cabbage and onion to the egg mixture and toss to combine.
Divide the mixture into 4 patties and put to one side. Using a large frying pan heat the oil, over a medium heat. Add the patties to the pan and press with a spatula to flatten. Cook until golden and tender, about 3 minutes per side.
