It is the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week

Healthy Eating Week has 5 health challenges at its heart, that it believes will lead to a healthy life and these are:

  • Have breakfast
  • Have 5 Fruit & Veg a day
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get active
  • Make a Change

And we can definitely help you with some of the above challenges.

So, we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day and what better way to start your morning off, than with a Becketts breakfast.

We have a fantastic selection of healthy dishes to choose from including our β€˜Skinny Low Cal Breakfast’. This consists of two rashers of Becketts Butchery bacon, two free range poached eggs, grilled tomato, button mushrooms (poached without butter) and Heinz baked beans. After careful calculation using my fitness pal, this dish is only 347 calories and is also slimming world friendly.

Do you struggle to eat 5 pieces of fruit and vegetables a day? Staff members at Becketts are at an advantage of consuming their 5 a day with the greengrocers on site. We have a great selection of seasonal produce available at Becketts greengrocers and what’s better is, we source as much local and British produce as possible.

With 8 speciality departments in our Farm Shop, we can hopefully inspire you with your next healthy meal at home.
